The universal declaration is the first comprehensive human rights instrument that elaborates equal rights with the nation of equality. The preamble recognizes the inherent dignity and “the equal and inalienable rights of all as the member of family, as the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in world,” and reaffirms “faith in equal rights of men and women”.
